Marshallton was founded in 1970 in Marshallton, Pennsylvania. In 1974, the company moved to an industrial site in the Piedmont Triad of North Carolina.

Quantities up to 100+ kilograms can be supplied from on-site equipments. Further scale-up can be achieved by adapting Marshallton technology to pilot plant and semi-commercial equipment under contract. For some customers technology transfer is an attractive alternative.
